한국에서도 사용할 수 있으며, Moto G 3G는 KT/SK 회선, Moto G LTE는 SK 회선에 연결하면 된다고 한다. 다만 영국 글로벌 언락폰에서는 한글 메뉴를 지원하지 않는다고 하니, 가능하면 미국 글로벌 언락폰을 구입하자.
2015년 겨울에 Moto G 1세대 모델에도 안드로이드 6.0 마쉬멜로우가 정식으로 업데이트 되었다. 놀랍게도 킷캣, 롤리팝보다 부들부들하고 빠릿한 모습을 보여주고 있다. 구글이 얼마나 작정하고 마쉬멜로우를 만들었는지 알 수 있는 부분이다.
